This website followed a rebranding project for a master electrician located on Eastern Long Island.

Problem:

After helping the company rebrand to better depict their company and services, they needed an update to their online presence as well. The site was not only outdated in terms of design and SEO, but it reflected their old brand. The client had no control over their HTML site and needed a platform to easily make edits and updates on their own. New web design was absolutely necessary.
Bottom line: They were in need of a new, CMS-friendly website to match their new brand.

Solution:

I created the new website using the new branding for a consistent look. We took down the old hard-coded HTML site, and built an easily manageable WordPress Theme.

Important web design requirements included the “free estimates” as well as an easy way for the web user to get in touch with the company via the web. The client also wanted to include the capability for an existing client to leave a review directly on the site. We also wanted to make sure to showcase some of the company’s work, as one of their key services is commercial lighting.

Therefore, I made sure to include elements like a contact form, portfolio of showcased work, and a customers reviews page. For successful UX and web design practices, I also wanted to make sure the web user has a great sense of the company and what they have to offer as soon as they land on the homepage. In which case, here we have photos of their work, key services offered, and contact info. We also included a dynamic slider to show customer testimonials to enhance the company’s reputation.
